Clinical Training Opportunities
Clinical training opportunities open to all Foundation trainees include Process Workshops, Practitioner Training Workshops, Supervision and observing at the BEBA Family Clinic. In addition, by invitation and application, there is an Assistants Program & an Internship Program in the BEBA clinic.
Trainees may apply to assist process workshops with Ray or other certified process workshop facilitators after completing the first 3 training modules, 3 process workshops with Ray or a certified process workshop facilitator and the minimum 5-day introduction to fluid tide craniosacral work.
Practitioner Trainings
The Practitioner Training is a special environment in which Practitioners-in-Training have an opportunity to co-facilitate one session of a Process Workshop with Ray. The focus of the Practitioner Training is to build small group facilitation skills under direct guidance and to examine the practitioner thought process in follow-up debriefings. During the debriefings, the Practitioner-in-Training will discuss what they thought/felt worked for them, what they felt their challenges were during the session, and what their activations or countertransference issues were in the context of the process workshop.
The purpose of the Practitioner Training is to learn about and enhance process workshop skills. Within the Practitioner Training, we are doing a Process Workshop.
The Practitioner Training is a forum for Practitioners-in-Training to identify their skills and work in the setting with support for learning at their leading edges. It is not a test or procedure that must be completed in order to be a competent practitioner. It is an opportunity to build facilitation skills and learn at your leading edges.

Advanced Trainings
Dr. Castellino describes the Advanced Training...
"The most frequent supervision questions I receive from practitioners have to do with double binds. Double binds present the most challenging dynamics for family work and process workshops. Double bind "coex" or "over compressed" systems can be so complicated that the practitioner can easily find themselves in the mists of creative "therapeutic mistakes." I will present new material that has evolved since I presented my "double bind protocol" in the training that makes facilitating these dynamics much more effective and efficient.
This material and these skills are readily applicable to private practice, family practice and process workshops.
During the training, I will facilitate one or two PW style sessions. One or two members of the class will receive sessions with the rest of the group participating in the womb-surround. I have added new principles that increase the safety and depth of bonding in process workshops that will be presented. The intentions of the sessions will include ancestral imprinting, imprints that include death, loss, twin loss, near death experience and epoch abuse. The common denominator in each session will be double bind dynamics.
We will have 4 days so there will be time to debrief the sessions, do advanced skills exercises that include instruction on the reverse dialogue technique that I frequently use working with parents, in process workshops and in supervision. I did not teach the reverse dialogue work in the training.
The three participants who receive sessions will be selected before the training. To receive a session you must have an intention that includes double binds: ancestral, twin, loss, abuse or other double bind content. Indicate your interest and your intention for a session when you apply. I will make choices based on how your session will serve the group to learn the skills. Certificates of attendance will be given out at the end of the training."
